Homo sapiens: The most dangerous of all species

Humans:the most destructive

We, are the
homo sapiens; The smartest, the most capable and most successful survivors among the species.

But besides, are the most dangerous and destructive creature ever found on universe. But how? What were our predators and how did we get dangerous? so lets get started.

THE HOMOS

The homo is a genus in a family of primates that contains many species. but all of them have been extinct. such as homo erectus.

We humans survived successfully through the tough stages and now are the rulers of the animal kingdom.

We learned to craft tools, make shelters, and migrated from time to time to make our population in billions today.

but we have also done something which made us dangerous in the eyes of other species.

REVOLUTION IN THE EVOLUTION

It dates back about 4.9 million years ago, when one of the first hominins, arthitipecus started walking on two feet.

And that was a revolution in the history of human evolution. from this phenomena, we evolved rapidly into different species.

We used to live in caves, but  as populations increased we began to destroy other species sharing the same habitat. but how?

DESTROYING OTHER SPECIES

Due to the increase in numbers, our ancestors wanted more food and better shelter. so we began to hunt other animals, such as the gigantic mammoths.

Following the technique of teamwork and using sharp hunting tools, we quickly overpowered them.

As our population grew more and more, we began to hunt more and more animals.

It is the rule of nature that if one species increases, its competitors decrease. The same was applied to them and our ancestors.

DID WE HAVE PREDATORS?

Yes, absolutely we had as well as others. but they were unable to keep our population under control.

Among the large variety of our predators, saber-tooth cats are a good example; but we had strong and damaging weapons, such as lances.

to keep them away from us. Cave bears, giant snakes and eagles were a big threat to ancient humans, too.

WHY NO ONE COULDN'T STOP US?

It is necessary for predators to don't let their prey over-populate its species. But these predators couldn't do that because of our self-made defending strategies.

We had strong shelters, powerful weapons and biggest of all, co-operation and team work. That's why no one has stood against our ancestors.

BECOMING MODERN

So my scientific buddies, as you've seen how our ancestors evolved so quickly. and destroyed all their competitors along their way.
"Since the 16th century, humans have driven 680 vertebrates species to extinction." nbc news.

Now let's see how we are still dangerous to nature today

TODAY'S SAPIENS

Today, we have become more powerful and advanced; we have made vehicles to run on built ground, and planes to rip the air.

But still today, we are continuously destroying our home. There are some ways of how we are affecting the earth in modern procedures.
  • Over hunting
  • World wars
  • Neuclar
  • Agriculture
  • Breeding animals

OVER-HUNTING

Hunting animals has remained a hobby of kings and emperors and is still alive today. over hunting animals for the sake of wealth has led several of  them to extinction.

On the other side, many of them are at the risk of extinction, such as the amur leopard.

WORLD-WARS

The whole humanity is at war from the beginning; destroying not only the humans, but the battlefield as well. millions of men were killed in these wars.

The two world wars are the darkest chapters of our history. the nuclear bombs used in these world wars have harmed our earth so much that some trenches representing the soreness of earth are still alive today.

NEUCLAR DESTRUTIONS:

The UN Office for Disarmament Affairs agrees that one nuclear bomb,

can destroy a whole city, potentially killing millions, and jeopardizing the natural environment and lives of future generations through its long-term catastrophic effects”.

there is no more to say about the disasters of nuclear to the environment

AGRICULTURE:

Agriculture is also playing an essential role in destroying the earth.

By cutting down trees for growing crops, they make many animals living there homeless.

The forests are decreasing and the lands used for farming are increasing day by day.

the wastes produced by making fertilizers and pesticides are dumped in fresh water.

Plus, it is also affecting marine life and spoiling the soil as well. we are destroying creatures living in our habitat for our own pleasure.

BREEDING ANIMALS:

This is a factor in which we usually don't pay attention. but it is also affecting wildlife in ways we don't even think about. Let me explain

In almost every house there is a cat, even if you don't have a pet, there is one in your house.

According to the research, the increase in the population of cats is affecting the ecosystem and their inhabitants.

which includes rats, birds, hamsters and other animals. Because of them , the food chain is being balanced

and if we destroy them through breeding cats, the ecosystems will be ruined. That's why we are destroying the earth passively

plus, there are goats. The native people of the areas near forests take them to the forests to graze the vegetation.

This decreases the food of herbivores living there and  relying on that vegetation. From that these animals die from starvation.

CONCLUSION:

Not all people are dangerous; there are many world-wide organizations which have been active in saving our wildlife and nature.

Some of the best examples are WWF, Green Peace and Nature Friends International.

they are saying to these feared creatures that all of us are not 'dangerous'

so buddies! enjoyed this? there are a lot of things I've missed, so have a part 2?
